The action of the animated movie "Onward," intended for family viewing, is developing in a world that was once filled with magic in the past. This place was truly fabulous and fantastic. But since then, a lot of time has passed.
Now the inhabitants of this world live differently than their ancestors. They no longer remember that once magic was an integral part of life. From now on, all creatures considered magical live a monotonous and routine life. They are engaged in everyday affairs and are practically no different from each other. However, such a development of events does not suit everyone.
The plot focuses on brothers originating from the clan of the ancient elves. They are tired of a boring life in a quiet suburb. They are not going to go to work and live on a schedule. And so the brothers go on a difficult journey. The only way they can find the latest manifestations of magic. And if they succeed, then the world will again become fabulous.
