Adonis, the main character in Creed 2, is an inexperienced and weak, albeit very talented boxer. His father was the world champion in heavyweight, and therefore, he feels that he must continue the work of the parent. Adonis puts all his strength into training, hoping not to discredit the honor of his father, who died many years ago. His training is carried out by Robert “Rocky” Balboa, who became a two-time world champion in heavyweight. At one time, Rocky was not only one of the most dangerous rivals of the father of Adonis, but also his best friend. But now Balboa owns a small Italian restaurant in Philadelphia, named after his late wife, Adriana.
Adonis’s rival is Viktor Drago, the son of the famous Russian boxer Ivan, who received worldwide attention because of his brute strength. Many years ago, Ivan killed Father Adonis right in the boxing ring and later lost to Rocky. And now Adonis must defend the honor of the family.
